Coffee Cake

Mixture

Mix together:

1          -           cup                  brown sugar

1          -           cup                  sugar

2          -           cups                 flour

Cut in with a pastry blender:

1          -           cup                  butter (or margarine)

Reserve

Set aside a scant cup of mixture for topping.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Combine:

1          -           cup                  sour cream

1          -           teaspoon          baking soda

Beat and add to the above:

2          -           -                       eggs

1          -           teaspoon          cinnamon

-           1/4       teaspoon          salt

Cover the bottom of a 9 x 14 x 2” pan with:

2          -           cups                 broken pecans

Pour with batter.

 

Cover batter with:

1          -           cup                  reserved mixture

1          -           teaspoon          cinnamon

-           1/8       teaspoon          salt

Bake and then serve warm.
